Visit to the Energy Park

The students of Grade 4 visited the Goraj Muni Ashram on Tuesday the 1st of March as part of their hand on experience on the Social Science Topic Energy . They had the opportunity to visit the biggest solar panels which produce enough solar energy to run the whole AC system of a cancer hospital . They also saw how biowaste is used to prepare biogas to cook food food in the hospital. They even saw solar water heater which supplied hop water to the people in the Ashram. It was an educative experience for the students of grade 4.

Unity in diversity

 The students of Grade 3 celebrated their special day on Tuesday the 1st March as part of their Social science unit “Diversity in India”. The children very enthusiastically came dressed in the traditional clothes of different regions and also brought along the delicacies of that particular region. The students of other also visited them and enjoyed the different mouth watering dishes displayed there.

 Culminating Activity for  Grade V was organized  on 22nd  February 2012 wherein the students showcased  their models, charts  and projects which they did in Term II. The students presented  a beautiful role play in English which depicted their knowledge on different subjects.

The students of Grade VI participated in the culminating activity which was held on 24th February 2012.It presented a richly conceptualized network of  students’ skills and an exhibition of their understanding of the subjects. The students’ work  was the main highlight of the culminating activity. The projects  made by the students  for term II were displayed in the activity.

Grade VII organized its 2nd culminating event on 29th Feb, 2012 wherein the students showcased  their models, charts  and projects which the students did for various subjects in Term II. Various role plays and presentations were put up by the students related to the subjects. Efforts by the children were appreciated by the parents.

Washing Day

Playschool  24-2-12 The Play School Kids were very excited to Wash, brush and clean their clothes.. They were dressed like’ Dhobi’ and they  washed ,dried  and iron the clothes  and packed the same in tidy paper parcels. The Children  enjoyed the activity very much.

Crazy Creation

Sr.kg 23-2-2012 The Senior KG kids  presented their ideas and thoughts through Creative drawings. They colored, painted and decorated their creations in a very interesting and unique manner. This activity gave wings to their creativity  and their varied their imagination.

Field Trip Grade 1

The students of grade 1 on 9.1.12 went on a field trip to the Garage where they saw the different parts of a car . They also got good tips on taking good care of their vehicles and there by avoid air pollution. On 11.1.12 they visited the 92.7 Big FM to have an interaction with the RJ and get hand on experience on mass communication. They were given thorough knowledge about how the people all over the world are connected with each other through this mass communication media. It was an educative trip.

Field Trip Grade 3

The students of Grade 3 went on a field trip on .1.12 to Wadhawana Bird Sanctuary to observe the nestling habits of the migratory birds. They saw different types of ducks .Siberian cranes and many different species of birds. It was an exciting view for the students and they thoroughly enjoyed

Field Trip Grade 4

On 10.1.12 the students of grade 4 went on a field trip to the Water purification plant at Nimeta. The students actually saw all the different processes of water purification right from storing water at the reservoir to alum treatment ,to alum coagulation tank, filtration, sedimentation and in the end clorinization.It was an educative experience that the children had.

Inter house Competition- Grade VIII, IX

Students of grade VIII and IX (CBSE) participated in an Inter House competition on 20/01/2012. The topic for the same was :Eco friendly inventions. There were four groups and each group enthusiastically presented working models of gadgets like solar energy driven car, Robots and a salt water driven car. The group representing AIR house won the first prize for their fantastic model of the Robot and a Unique car.

An inter house competition was organized for the students of Grade VII in which they made working and non working devices on solar energy. The enthusiasm amongst the students was evident from the energy with which they made models like solar cooker, solar panel, solar charger etc.

INTER HOUSE COMPETITION Grade VI

Inter house competition for Grade VI was conducted on 13th January 2012 on the topic Conservation of Water. Students prepared power point presentations on how to save water. They all participated with great zeal and enthusiasm and displayed their creativity. It was a self-explanatory and creative activity which made the children aware about Mother Nature’s gift to us i.e. natural resources . The students also realized the importance of saving water and how to stop its use insensibly.

Inter House Activity of “Kaleidoscope” for Grade V was conducted on 12th January 2012 . It was a group activity. Students enthusiastically participated in the competition and made model of Kaleidoscope reflecting what they have studied in different subjects.

VIBGYOR VIVA 2011

The name VIVA conjures up visions of life, exuberance, verve and vivacity – a salute to the good life. It is an extravaganza of events – academic, sports based, cultural and social which involves a magnificent display of the multifarious talents of the enthusiastic and innovative students. We provided an open platform to students from different schools of Vadodara to participate in various competitions for Primary and Secondary sections. Many interesting workshops were organized for parents and children.

The students of Grade VIII and IX CBSE section visited Sardar Patel Museum and Amul Dairy as apart of their learning experience. They also visited the birth place of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, the iron Man of India.They fond the v field trip very interesting and informative.

The students of Grade VII A, B visited Amul Dairy and understood the process of pasteurization and packing of milk products like butter, cheese etc . They also visited the birth place of ‘Iron Man’ Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel at his village Karamsad. The experience was very inspiring and informative.

The students of Grade VI of VIBGYOR High had been to a field trip on 21st of Dec, 2011 to the Sayaji Zoo. The students explored many new things related to animal kingdom it was based on the topic of classification of animals. Students enjoyed a lot and found the trip to be interesting and informative. FIELD TRIP TO SAYAJI MUSEUM' GRADE V

The students of Grade V of VIBGYOR High had been to a field trip on 21st of Dec, 2011 to Sayaji Museum. The students had a good learning experience by discovering historical and archeological artifacts. Those included the Egyptian mummy, the skeleton of a whale, statue depicting the passion of Eve etc. This trip enhanced their knowledge and aroused their interest in the area of social studies.

INTER HOUSE COMPETITION-'ESSAY WRITING'

Grade IX B showcased their literary talent in the essay writing competition on the topic “If I were to produce and direct a movie, I would …..”. The students fantasized and made a big budget story which would be appreciated by the mass. A few students also emphasized on social issues.

Essay Writing on the topic ‘Computers a Boon or a Bane’ was held on 13th October 2011 for grade VIII CBSE. Most students were of the opinion that the computers are a boon as they feel that computers help them a lot and has made their studies very interesting and easy.

Inter House Competition on the ‘Art without brushes’ for Grade VII was held on 12th October 2011. The students used various techniques like finger painting, thumb painting, vegetable painting and blow painting. Thus students created excellent pieces of art without brushes through their creativity.

The students of Grade VI A, B participated enthusiastically in the poster making and slogan writing competition on ‘Conservation of Electricity’ held on 11th October 2011. The students framed effective slogans and created posters on saving the ‘Mother Earth’. They also showed various ways in which electricity was wasted and how it can be saved.

Poster Making and Slogan Writing on ‘Waste Management’ was held on 11th October 2011, for the students of grade V A,B. All the students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. Students came up with innovative ideas and slogans which showcased their creativity and talent. They were able to depict the causes and effects of excessive waste produced and the ways to reduce it. All the participants enjoyed the event. It was indeed a productive event.

FAREWELL

The first batch of Grade X IGCSE and A2 Level students were blessed and bid farewell  on 30 /09/ 2011. The Farewell party was hosted by the Students of grade IX and the AS Level by the Pool Side. The celebrations began with an entertaining programme which included Dances and games and speeches. The Dance accompanied by a DJ was enjoyed by one and all. Momentoes were given to each student. The passing out group in turn gave beautiful keep sakes for the school. Our principal and the respective class teachers showered their blessings as we bid good bye to our young students as they step out in the New and challenging world… God Bless Each one … We will miss you all…

BORN FREE -VISIT THE ZOO

The students of Grade 4 visited the Zoo on 20.9.11 as part of their Social Sciences topic ‘Animal and their Habitat where they observed the animals in the zoo. The children  loved  the animals and decided never to cage them . They are born free and so we must  let them live free.

VISIT TO THE PET VET

The students of Grade 1 visited the vet’s clinic on the 20th September ‘11. They saw and learnt how we need to take care of the pets and, to keep them healthy we need to vaccinate them regularly so that do not get infected  and fall sick. They also visited the pet store cum beauty parlor  where the pets are given a hair cut .and their nails are trimmed ,their ears are cleaned and given a nice bath. All the pet accessories are available in this store. The Vet informed them that the pets should be fed with high protein diet and Pedigree is the best.

CULMINATING ACTIVITY

Grade V culminated their first term with beautifully displayed projects, models and class activity sheets.
The enthusiastic explanation of their activities made their parents beam with joy and pride.

Grade VI had their First Term Culminating Activity on 7/9/11.  The projects were displayed in an organized manner and beautifully explained by the students. The students  had personal interaction with the parents while explaining their work. In addition to that  Best of the three  “Hat speeches” were presented by the students from each class  in front of the parents.
Over all the culminating activity was very informative and students’ personal interest and participation made their parents feel proud of them.

On 8th September 2011, Thursday, the students of Grade VII organized the Culminating Activity to bid adieu to the fun filled yet informative First Term. The students participated with lot of enthusiasm in the same. With the help of subject teachers students prepared their corners where in they showcased different models, charts, albums, posters, live – experiments with a lot of confidence. The students also delivered hat speeches.
The Culminating Activity was a great success for the students and  was well appreciated by the parents.

GETTING TO KNOW GRANDPARENTS

The students of Grade 2 went on a field trip to ‘The Old Age Home’ on the 16th September, 2011 and met the senior citizens there.  They interviewed the grandparents and  interacted with them. The students presented each one cards specially designed by them. The senior citizens were  very happy to receive the cards  and enjoyed interacting with the children.

The students of the Primary section participated in the Inter House Competition on the 16th September2011. In Grade 1 all the nursery rhymes came alive when the children came dressed in nursery rhyme characters and recited the rhymes . The Grade 2 children travelled and marvelled at the fantasies of fairy tales .  While, Grade 3 and 4 students enacted characters from their literature book ‘James and the Giant Peach’ The Inter House Competition day was  enjoyed and appreciated by all.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS

The  Independence Day was celebrated in a very solemn and apt manner on the sprawling grounds of VIBGYOR High Vadodara on 15th August 2011.

Students and staff  assembled for the celebrations which commenced  with a March past followed by the Flag hoisting. The Tri- colour was hoisted by our Principal – Ms. Stella Frank. The Flag song – ‘Jhanda Uccha Rehe Hamara’ filled the air with the patriotic fervor.

It was a DAY to Revisit the Freedom Struggle and in Retrospect Redefine the true meaning of FREEDOM..

THE INVESTITURE CEREMONY

The Investiture ceremony  of the newly elected Pupils Representative Council (PRC) was held in the school premises on the 16th August, 2011.
After the excitement, noise and upheaval  of the  of the Elections of the newly elected PRC  members  were invested with honours and ranks in form of smart sashes and badges as  they pledged to strive harder  and keep the VIBGYOR flag  flying higher.

The out going President  Miss Sheena Bajaria was nostalgic as she cherished and relived  the fun times  and the lovely moments she along with her PRC team enjoyed  during their tenure. She also welcomed  the newly elected  President – Master Amandeep Singh .
Our esteemed Principal , Ms. Stella Frank  applauded the efforts put up by the out going Team and inspired and motivated the newly elected  PRC members to work with dedication, humility and honesty.

It was indeed a very PROUD moment for each one !!!!

FIELD TRIP TO KEMROCK INDUSTRIES

The students of  the AS LEVEL SCIENCE and COMMERCE  sections  visited the Kemrock Industries  situated at Kalol (80KM)  from Vadodara. The students visited the Carbon Composite Plant and then the Agro unit . The visit to the Carbon Composite Plant gave the students a Hands on experience of the layout and the co- relation of each subdivision of the  plant. The Agro unit  which specializes in Plant Tissue Culture was very  informative and enlightening. The visit served as a  great base to write a report and describe a place  as part of the English  writing skills.

The students of  the CBSE section participated in the Inter House Competition held on 11th August 2011. The topic for the same was ‘Humorous Speech in Hindi’. The  students presented humorous incidents from their own lives. It was a light and relaxing event for all. Mohammad Miya Saduwala of Water House and Tirth Patel of Earth House bagged the first position from Grade VIII B and IX B respectively.

FIELD TRIP TO COMMUNITY SCIENCE CENTRE

A field trip was organized for the students of Grade VI A, B  to the ‘Community Science Centre’ as an extended learning experience for the  Chemistry topic – Physical and Chemical Changes’. The students had hands on experience and also explored the models and charts displayed. A film was also shown on the topic The Importance of Black.  Many experiments  were performed to differentiate between Physical and Chemical Changes.  It was a  very unique and informative exercise.

FIELD TRIP TO KEMROCK INDUSTRIES

The students of Grade VII A and B had field trip to Kemrock Export and  Industries on 17th August 2011. The students observed the Carbon Unit and Agritec Unit and  had hands on experience on Tissue Culture. The students observed various products of Carbon used in our day to day life. The students gained knowledge of steps involved in tissue culture technique. It was very enriching experience for the students.

Bright Eyes without light

The students of Grade 2 visited the Blind School on 29.6.11 as a part of their learning experience on the topic ‘Sense Organs’. The students interacted with the blind students and realized the importance of the gift of precious  eyes which shows us the colorful world and the difficulties faced in their absence. This trip was also helpful in creating sympathy towards the less fortunate people who have lost this important sense organ.  The young students were amazed to see the visually impaired  using their hands to feel the raised dots on the Braille Script which helped them to  read and write and perform mathematical calculations .

EXPLORING THE SOLAR SYSTEM

On 7/7/2011 the students of grade 4 visited the Community Science Centre to get  an insight on how an Artificial satellite revolves around the Earth. They were awe struck to see the different phases of the Moon.  The  presentations on the Total Solar Eclipse recently witnessed by the world held the students spell bound.

COFFEE MEET 2011- 2012

VIBGYOR HIGH VADODARA began  the  academic year 2011 – 2012 with the Coffee Meet for the parents of  ICSE, IGCSE and the AS Level on the 3rd and the 4thJune 2011. The Coffee Meet introduced the parents  to the  unique ways  planned by VIBGYOR for an exciting and enjoyable year ahead. The new dimensions like the Check Point and the importance and value of the AS Level and the A level at the CIE was well appreciated by the parents. The stress free assessment pattern at the ICSE level was welcomed and applauded by each one. Introduction of the VHMUN Club ( VIBGYOR HIGH Mock United Nations Club)sparked a lot of interest among the  parents. Looking  forward to an exciting year  ahead!!!!

Reincarnation Of Achievers

On  13/06/2011as part of the SS topic: ‘Great Achievers’ the students of Grade 4 came dressed as their favorite achiever and threw light on the achievements of the Great men. It was an event which took us back to the days of our Independence struggle where Patriotism, Spirituality and Humanity ruled the hearts and minds of each Indian.

Visit to the Agricultural farm

The students of grade 4 visited the agricultural farm as part of their SS topic ‘Soils and the crops grown in them’ on 23/6/11

They saw different types of soils and also learnt  how farmers plough the field and they take care of the crops. They also learnt which soil is suitable for which type of crops. It was an enriching field trip and an exciting experience.

Field Trip to a Cloth Printing Unit

The students of Grade 1 went on a field trip to a  Cloth Printing Workshop on 15th March, 2011. They saw how the finished cloth is dyed into different colours and later on printed with blocks and colours. They even tried their hands on printing and enjoyed the experience. They learnt about the different types of printing like-block printing, screen printing etc.

Assembly Time

The students of Grade 2 presented their Assembly programme on 15th March, 2011. The theme for the Assembly was ‘Sharing’- the Value for the month. A story based on this value was enacted by the students. They learnt the importance of sharing and how it helps in building up relationships.

On 8th March, 2011 the students of Grade 1 celebrated the Traditional Day as a part of their Social Science unit ‘Kinds of Clothes.’ Children came dressed in colourful traditional attires looking beautiful. On 8th March, 2011 the students of Grade 3 conducted the School Assembly and presented the topic ‘Cleanliness in Our Surroundings.’ The focus was on how cleanliness helps to keep us healthy and protect us from dreadful diseases. Waste Not - Want Not

The students of Grade 4 went on a field trip to the Energy Park on 10th March, 2011. The objective was to have a hands on experience on the Social Science topic ‘Energy and Conservation of Energy.’ They saw how the natural and renewable sources of energy were fully utilized by the park to run their AC plant and provide AC facility to the inmates at a very reasonable rate.

The Students of Grade 4 visited the Bio-Gas plant on 8th March, 2011 as a part of their Social Science topic ‘Conservation of Energy.’ The children got a hands on experience on the entire process of bio-gas production using cow dung and bio- waste along with some chemicals. It was an enriching experience for the students.

Field Trip To Science Community Centre

Students of Grade 8 went on a field trip to the ‘Science Community Centre’ on 4th March, 2011. The objective of the trip was to learn about Energy and Life Science. The students were a part of the ‘Earth Hour 2011’ celebrations which was conducted by World Wildlife. Interesting PowerPoint presentations on ‘Life Conservation’ and ‘Energy Conservation’ were organised by the hosts.

Culminating Activity…..

On 4th March, 2011 the students of Grade VI presented a Culminating Activity based on the Science topic ‘Economic Importance of Bacteria and Fungi.’ It was a unique and thought provoking activity which included a skit, an interesting display of charts and a PowerPoint presentation on the topic. A poster making competition for the parents was the highlight of the event. The activity was appreciated and applauded by all.

On 23rd February, 2011 the students of Grade VI went on an exciting Field Trip to the 93.5 RED FM Radio Station. They learnt about sound proofing and the different ways in which sound is produced in the FM studio.

The students of Grade VII appreciated and critiqued a programme that was being broadcasted during their visit to the FM Radio station on 24th February, 2011. Students filled up a  questionnaire to gauge their knowledge about the programme. They  also understood the features of a good talk show and were  inspired to take up the profession of  a Radio Jockey.

CULMINATING ACTIVITY (The Egyptian Civilization)

On  24th February, 2011 students of Grade V presented a very informative  and interesting Culminating Activity on ‘The Egyptian Civilization,’ which thrived on the banks of the river Nile in ancient times. The details were presented through PowerPoint presentations, skit, quiz and an innovative fashion parade covering all facets of the great era.

The Students of Grade II presented a thought provoking Culminating Activity on 16th February, 2011 as a part of their Social Science theme ‘Exploring Matter.’ The message ‘Conserve Water’ or be prepared to ‘Pay for Water in the near Future’ was loud and clear!!!!! The skit ‘Princess Air in Danger’ warned every one about the ill effects of Air Pollution. They depicted how the rise in pollution would lead to people wearing oxygen masks for survival.

Field Trip to the Biscuit Factory…..

On 15th February, 2011 students of Grade V were taken to a Biscuit factory – ‘Kunal Foods’ which is located about 30km from Vadodara city. The aim of the Field Trip was to give first hand experience to our students on the process of biscuit production and importance of health and hygiene in our diet.

Visit to ‘Kemrock Industries

The students of Grade IX and X enjoyed a very interesting and wonderful Field Trip to ‘Kemrock Industries’ on 17th February, 2011. They witnessed the amazing technique of ‘Plant Tissue Culture’ in fruits and vegetables. They were spellbound to see how a tiny tissue can be grown into many individual plants. The drip irrigation system helped them to realize the importance and need to SAVE WATER!!!!!

‘Measurement of Weight’

The students of Grade 4 enjoyed ‘The Check Your Weight’’  activity on 7th February, 2011 as part of their Mathematics topic ‘Measurement of Weight.’ They were curious  to know the weight of their classmates, too. To spread general awareness on the Social Science Topic ‘Air Borne Diseases’ the students of Grade 2 on 7th February, 2011 designed colourful posters. Testing Time

Can anyone see the minute dust particles polluting the air? Yes the students of Grade 2  tested the presence of dust particles through a simple experiment in their classrooms. They placed greased microscopic slides at various locations. Later these slides were observed closely with magnifying glasses. The students were astonished to find dust particles stuck on the slides.

Inter School Debate Competition

Students of Grade 8 and 9 participated  in the ‘Inter School Debate Competition’ which was organised by Bal Bhavan Society on 10th February, 2011.

50 students from 19 schools of Vadodara city participated in the event. Nausheen Sujela from Grade 9  who spoke against the topic ‘Young People On Television Shows’ bagged the Second prize – a trophy and a silver coin.

Who has seen the wind…

On 2nd February, 2011 the students of Grade 2 observed the direction and strength of the wind as a part of their Social Science topic ’Air.’ The students made their own wind vanes on an experimental basis. They observed the direction of the wind using their wind vanes. They were able to understand how the wind blows lighter objects like a handkerchief, dry leaves and cotton to a distance whereas the heavy objects remained still.’

Learning all about weights

The students of Grade 4 on 2nd February, 2011 learnt to identify the standard units of weight as a part of their Mathematics unit on “Metric System.” They also enjoyed weighing various objects like book, pencil box, duster etc. and noted down the weights in their notebooks. Framing Creative Dialogues

As a part of their Language Art topic on Dialogue Writing, the students of Grade 2 made an intensive reading of the comic books which were displayed in the reading corner on 31st January, 2011. This enabled them to write down their dialogues independently.
In addition to this activity, the students acted out their favourite cartoon character on 1st February, 2011. Through a game they framed dialogues based on a given situation and expressed their views through actions. It was a play way method of communicating thoughts through enactment.

Animal Puzzle

The students of Grade 2 tried to solve the animal jigsaw puzzles on 1st February, 2011 as a part of their Literature topic. This was a unique way of learning that when the picture was in pieces it is difficult to identify but when all the pieces are put together, recognition becomes easier. Oxygen helps in combustion

The students of Grade 4 on 31st January, 2011 learnt about the importance and composition of air as a part of their Social Science topic “States of Matter.” They also learnt through a demonstration activity that oxygen present in air helps in burning. Through an experiment they observed how a candle is put off when the oxygen in the air is used up.

In conversation with the Commissioner of Police

The students of Grade 1 on 31st January, 2011 visited the Police Head Quarters and had a conversation with the Police Commissioner that cleared many doubts in their minds. This was with reference to the Social Science Topic ‘Important Neighbourhood Places’. They also observed how the control room functions, how thieves are caught and how traffic is controlled.

Bird viewing

The students of Grade 3 went on a field trip on 3rd February, 2011 to the ‘Wadhana Bird Sanctuary’ as an extension of their Social Science unit “Animal life in the various Physical Features of India.”

On 23rd January, 2011 the city of Vadodara and as many as 157 students and staff members of VIBGYOR High participated in the ‘Vadodara International Marathon’ with lots of zeal and enthusiasm. It was indeed heartening to see the VIBGYOR colours flying high in the marathon where thousands of city lovers ran for their city.

2nd VIBGYOR INTER SCHOOL AQUATIC CHAMPIONSHIP 2010

Vibgyor High, Vadodara was privileged to have around 150 students representing 27 schools of the city, participating in the 2nd Vibgyor Inter School Aquatic Championship 2010 which was held on 10th October.

The opening ceremony was marked by releasing the Mascot thereby signifying the 2nd Vibgyor Aquatic Championship 2010 open. This was followed by a power-packed dance performance. Thereafter some of the best swimmers of Vadodara exhibited their skills in the course of the events. The meet concluded with the much awaited prize distribution ceremony , followed by a vote of thanks.

Field Trip to Energy Park

The students of grade VI A and VI B visited ‘Energy Park’ on 8th October.It is a centre which has initiated many alternate energy technologies . The students were amazed to see the bio fuel plant which provided energy to the centre. It also harnesses Solar energy which is ecofriendly as well as free.

The National Rural IT Quiz

The National Rural IT Quiz was organized by one of the leaders in business – ‘TATA Consultancy Services’ (TCS) – Asia’s largest IT company and Department of Information Technology, Government of Karnataka on Wednesday, 6th October, 2010 at the C.C.Mehta Auditorium – The Maharaja Sayajirao University Campus.

The Vibgyorites of VADODARA once again proved themselves to be the Best amongst the students of 12 leading English medium schools of Vadodara.

Learning to measure weight

The students of Grade 2 learnt how weight is measured in terms of light & heavy objects on 20/9/2010 . It was noted that objects with heavy mass weighed more than those with lighter mass.

Tug of war

The students of Grade 3 presented team work through the game ‘Tug Of War’ on 21/9/10 and proved that team work goes a long way in achieving goals .The activity was based on the literature activity where James and his team of creatures succeeded in rescuing themselves from the sharks because of their excellent team work.

Mrs Nerg’s life processes

On 22nd September the acrostic, Mrs.Nerg helped the children of grade 2 to differentiate between living and non living things. A live demonstration helped the children to get a better understanding of the seven life processes seen in living things.

Fancy dress Competition

The Nursery Rhyme characters came alive on 21st September, when the students of Grade 1 dressed up for the Inter-House competition. Children came dressed as Nursery Rhyme characters and presented a beautiful Fancy Dress parade.

I love my Dog….

* The students of Grade I visited a Veterinary clinic on 23/9/10 as part of their Field Trip and observed how various types of dogs were treated for their diseases. They also visited the ‘Pet Vet Shop’ to observe the various things used by pet owners to groom their dogs.

Too heavy for the bag…..!!!

* On 22nd September, the students of Grade 3 tested the strength of carry bags of varying thickness by adding different weights till the bag gave away. This was part of their SS topic ‘Properties of Materials’. It was observed that the strongest bag carried the heaviest load.
