ACTIVITIES IN THE MONTH OF AUGUST

FIELD TRIPS

The purpose of the trips are usually for observation for education, non-experimental research or to provide students with experiences outside their everyday activities It’s a form of extended classroom which gives students a practical approach and helps them to relate as what they have learnt in theoretical form.

Field trip helped students of Vibyour High Tjis to interact with what they are learning. The experience was beyond reading about a concept; students were able to see it, manipulate it or participate in it physically. Students were able to see elements with their eyes rather than reading about it and believing what they are told because it's in print.

As our school believes in developing overall holistic personality, an endowment of integrated and infinite possibilities of the body, mind and spirit .Now with these kind of knowledge pupils will be able to construct  his/her knowledge creatively by reading, exploring, dreaming,  questioning, formulating and testing hypothesis and its meaningful application to life.

All the students of grade V to X were taken to a botanical garden, Visiting a botanical garden was much more powerful than reading about it.

The trip served as a powerful motivator for students as learning and fun made a great combination. As the pupils learnt about social interaction. The interactions taught them about how to behave in different settings.
