ABACUS EXAM IN CHENNAI Rajdeep Rajesh, Grade VII student stood 5th in the National level ABACUS Exam held in Chennai in the last week of June. He managed to complete 87questions in 5 minutes, which helped him to stand out amongst 45000 children who participated in the event.

Check Point Results
Check Point results for the third batch (2010-2011) from Vibgyor High Pune were declared on the16th June. Ashay Vipin Kumar, Trupti Rajat Jain, Aditya Das , Zoheir Nicholas Umrethi, Anvita Anagol and Shristi Tandale made the School proud with their outstanding performance in Maths, Science and English. It is indeed a heartening performance from the students of Vibgyor High Pune, excelling in all avenues of studies and scaling newer heights each year. Student Council Elections
Saptarishi Laha, of Grade 9 has made us proud by successfully designing the ‘Polling Software’ for the Student Council Elections

2011 Talent Search Program conducted by the Duke University
Roshni Raheja participated in the 2011 Talent Search Program conducted by the Duke University in India. More than 1000 students of the most academically talented seventh standard participated in this prestigious program. She successfully completed the Duke TIP held at the Infosys Global Education Center in Mysore,India. She has been awarded a Certificate of Recognition for participation.

Vibgyor High's Little Einstein
Vibgyor High proudly presents its very own little Einstein, Pratyussh Pol of Grade 6 CIE. Pratyussh has made us proud by ranking amongst the top 300 out of the 98000 students who had appeared for IKEN Scientifica, a National level Science and Technology competition at IIT Mumbai. This 6th grader has designed a remote control car that can play Football! He has also designed a steamboat! Great going Pratyussh!
A Brilliant Performance
The first batch of ICSE students from VIBGYOR High, Pune – Kondhwa came out with flying colours in the ICSE board exam 2010-11.The school topper Samira Saheba did the school proud by securing an impressive 95%, Harshit Jain a close 2nd secured 92% and Akhil Manwani stood 3rd with a commendable 91%.
14 out of the 15 students who appeared for the ICSE Board Exam 2010 – 11 passed with distinction. 10 of the top students got an impressive 80% and above.
A commendable performance which makes the school proud, setting a high benchmark for years to come.

Kata and Kumite (fight)
Riya Shende of Grade III (ICSE) won the Second Prize in the Under 9 years category of both Kata and Kumite (fight). A total of 23 schools and 200 students participated in the Inter-school Karate-Do Championship held on 6th March, 2011 at Punjabi Cultural Hall, Salisbury Park. Some of the participating schools were Bishops, DPS, VIBGYOR High, Amar Institute, etc.

Sejal Shah, a grade IV student from VIBGYOR High has made us proud by securing the First position amongst 32 schools in Pune in the National Science Talent Search Examination. Our under 10 football school team players went for the selection trials for the Pune city football team. The Selection was held at Vincent’s high school campus on 1st Feb 2011. 3 football players from our school were selected for the under 10 Pune City football team. They will now be representing the Pune city team. The Inter city competition was held on 8th Feb 2011 at Mumbai. The names of the students are as follows:
