At VIBGYOR High, we follow a multi-pronged approach to education, which is interactive and encourages questioning. Our teaching sessions actively involve the young learners and thereby enhance their learning process. Various teaching approaches are used to further assist our learning process:

- 3 Approaches to Integrated Curriculum,
- KOLB Model and
- VAK Model
These approaches facilitate Social development, Technical skills and a sound knowledge base in our students.
The Teaching Tools form an integral part of the VIBGYOR system of learning. The learning process is enhanced with Picture talks, story Flash cards, PowerPoint and multimedia presentations. Whiteboards and other audio-visual aids further supplement classroom teaching. A state of the art computer lab and multi-media centre, equipped in consonance with the latest technology, is available to every child, along with supervised internet connectivity. This enables the student to integrate ICT (Information and Communication Technology) as part of the overall curriculum.
To encourage activity based learning, the lesson planner for teachers is assisted with a number of interactive games and activities. The young learners are encouraged to learn by doing rather than watching and hearing. The Do2Learn Tools allow our students to transforms abstract concepts into concrete and meaningful ideas.
Enquiry, observation and experiential skills are enhanced in the Science and Math Labs. These cater to children of all age groups and support our philosophy of learning through fun. Professional talks by guest speakers are organised to give a better insight to the theoretical concepts taught in class. Field trips are planned at regular intervals for the students. These are an extension to the concepts taught in class and give the students a hands-on experience and understanding of the topic.
The aspect of Social learning is enhanced through various team activities like inter-house competitions, inter-school activities, international tours and championships etc. They help the students to learn by observing and promote team spirit.
At VIBGYOR High, we believe ideas are made visible using both words and images. The visual thinking of our young learners is enhanced by simplifying a complex concept using Mind Maps and Graphic Organisers.
An open access library provides an extensive range of reading, learning and reference material for all age groups. Our young scholars are encouraged to do research work from the internet, newspapers and magazines, gain information from the books, encyclopaedias and collect information about different topics. They are also trained to prepare case studies on the same.
These learning tools collectively provide our young geniuses a platform to practice the theoretical concepts taught in books, breaking the monotony and making learning a fun-filled experience at VIBGYOR High.
