ACTIVITIES from 21st - 25h June ‘2010
Community-helper
(Grade 1 : June 24th)
“Community-helper” is a familiar term for children through daily interaction with these “helpers”. On 24th June, the children of Grade 1 dressed up as some of these members of the community. Doctors sporting aprons, stethoscopes & first-aid kits were ready to care for patients. Carpenters with tool-kits were ready for any handy-man jobs. Fruit sellers had their spread of organic fruits. Milk-men were ready with their milk-cans.
It was a treat to watch our mini teachers handle the classroom. Our amateur artistes enacted the roles of community helpers to perfection. They made mini cards to thank the people who enrich our lives.
